About Us
Bethany Community Church is an evangelical, non-denominational church, a plant of Ggaba Community Church, duly registered with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB). It is located in Busoke Village, Mpatta Sub-county, Mukono District, Uganda.
The Church is a member of the fellowship of Community Churches in Uganda and was planted on 24th Dec 2001 by Pr Peter & Irene Kasirivu.
Bethany Community Church now has 4 branches in Mawoto, Mpatta, Banga and in Busoke.
Meet our senior pastors
Pastors Paul & Beatrice Bulima
Our leadership journey of Bethany Community Church began on Oct 1st 2012. On March, 23rd 2013, I married my beautiful wife and together we have three children, two boys and one girl.
At the time I was appointed to lead the church, our small congregation consisted of less than 50 adults. The church met in a small main hall of a primary school. By God’s grace, we have been able to organize the people of God, evangelized our community and as a result, we have seen growth happen in our ministry. Our church membership has grown from less than 50 adults in 2013 to over 200 adults now. We have over 600 children. We have been able to build a magnificent auditorium that seats nearly 500 people.
We have planted three churches in the last six years. Developing a functional discipleship program to mentor upcoming leaders for our ministry. Our children's ministry is comprised of trained volunteers who do a phenomenal job discipling our little ones. And we also provide a hot meal for them to eat.
Our vision as a ministry is to see a sustainable community transformed and released from oppression by the power of the gospel. Our community is comprised of people who have a heart for the Lord but are living in extreme poverty. It is our desire and prayer to see their lives transformed. We currently have a number of community empowerment programs which are aid us preaching the gospel in a holistic way.
